Students creations and a sample work

This is a demonstration for my students to follow. The recipe is to follow: within a frame, draw lines, shapes, and progressive interwoven colors and alternate filling the shapes. The teaching is to provoke the interest, and appetite as well as jump-start their interest as well as exposes students to visual principles that they themselves can comprehend and or ignore. Interestingly enough, this was the testing of personal character through the process of achieving the goal of accomplishing. Depending on how well the instructions were followed is the result of a successful result, this also includes the cleaning of their
brushes, these actions speak volumes, as well as the interaction between themselves to solve problems. all this I believe would bare the foundation of how well they would do in a real-life. This project draws a picture of themselves all due to their level of difficulty and overcoming its challenges.

Accidents happen

Accidents happen and here a cup of water spilled on the hard work with horror.  I  said to the student this is the opportunity to correct and make it new once again. The students all with disbelief  said "how is it that possible"!

Step one cut out all the damaged

Step 2 prepare a backing paper use the same paper used for the project

Step 3 uses the cut out to draw the outline of the new piece of paper

Step 4 now that the outline is drawn on the new piece glue up the areas that will not be shown  when it is glued under the painting

Step 5 now redraws the missing parts that were damaged

Step 6
